We're seeking a Senior Software Developer to take on a leadership role within our engineering team. You'll drive the design and implementation of key platform features, mentor junior developers, and help shape our technical architecture. This role offers significant ownership and the chance to influence how our products evolve.

* Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-quality software solutions across the GOCare platform * Lead technical design and architecture decisions for new features and system improvements * Mentor and support junior and mid-level developers through code reviews, pairing, and guidance * Collaborate closely with product management, QA, and design to translate business requirements into technical solutions * Identify and resolve complex technical challenges, performance bottlenecks, and system reliability issues * Leverage and champion AI-assisted development tools to maximize the team's productivity and output * Champion engineering best practices including testing, CI/CD, documentation, and code quality standards * Contribute to technical roadmap planning and help evaluate build-vs-buy decisions * Participate actively in Agile processes and help drive continuous improvement

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience) * 5+ years of professional software development experience * Strong proficiency in one or more modern languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, C#, Go) * Deep experience with web application development, RESTful APIs, and modern front-end frameworks * Solid understanding of software architecture patterns, design principles, and scalable system design * Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) * Proficiency with relational and/or NoSQL databases * Enthusiasm for integrating AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT) into development workflows to amplify a small team's impact * Track record of mentoring developers and elevating team capabilities * Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders Nice to have... * Experience in telecommunications, broadband, or ISP/MSO environments * Familiarity with microservices architecture and event-driven systems * Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation) * Background in DevOps practices and platform engineering * Contributions to open-source projects or technical community involvement
