Lazard is seeking an M&A Analyst to join the Industrials team in Minneapolis.  The position offers an outstanding career opportunity in investment banking with a highly successful team specializing in middle market mergers and acquisitions. In Lazard’s Industrials Group, our Analysts work in a generalist capacity spanning the following verticals: Industrial Technology & Equipment, Industrial & Commercial Services, Building Products & Materials, Transportation & Logistics and Chemicals.

We’ll trust you to:

• Analyze client financial and performance information
• Run financial models and conduct analysis
• Perform company and industry research
• Assist in the preparation of client presentations and marketing materials
• Interact with senior bankers and clients

You’ll need to have:

• At least one year of full-time experience in an investment banking, consulting, valuation or equivalent role
• Strong analytical skills with training in the building of presentation materials and financial modelling
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proven academic excellence with precise attention to detail and high standards of accuracy
• Team player mindset; ability to work as part of a close-knit team
• Strong ability to multi-task
• High level of responsiveness with a strong work ethic and commitment to maintaining a high-quality work product

We expect the base salary range for this role to be approximately $120,000 - $125,000 USD. Various factors contribute to determining the actual base compensation offered, including but not limited to the applicant’s years of relevant experience, career tenure, qualifications, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and relevant skills for the role. Base salary is one component of Lazard Financial Advisory’s compensation package, which also includes comprehensive benefits and may include incentive compensation.
