Job Description

Are you detail oriented and energized by a fast-paced, production-based environment with opportunities for career growth? Join Receivables Operations to help ensure customer and account information is captured accurately and on time.

As a Data Key Entry Specialist in Receivables Operations, you will input and validate customer and account data from source documents with a strong focus on productivity, accuracy, and confidentiality. Your work helps keep receivables processing running smoothly by ensuring data is complete, correct, and ready for downstream processing. You will follow established procedures, meet daily deadlines, and flex to support peak volumes as needed.

Job responsibilities

  • Insert customer and account data by inputting text and numerical information from source documents
  • Review data for deficiencies or errors and validate output against source documentation
  • Correct inaccuracies and resolve data exceptions within defined procedures
  • Maintain high daily productivity and accuracy standards
  • Follow outlined processes and controls to ensure consistent, high-quality results
  • Keep information confidential and handle documents/data appropriately

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Ability to confirm and/or correct data presented for capture to align with information on documents
  • Maintain an efficient rate of productivity and a high level of accuracy
  • Strong alphanumeric data entry skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and flexibility to support peak volumes
  • Ability to follow outlined processes and procedures accurately and consistently
  • Ability to work in a team environment with a diverse group
  • This role supports US Federal government contracts that require U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent status

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Remittance processing and/or banking operations experience preferred

 Schedule: Thursday – Sunday, 8:00 am – 6:30 pm
 

Shift Differential: 10%

This position may require you to work non-traditional hours and/or additional hours as business needs arise.

Security Clearance Requirement:

A Government Security Clearance, including Public Trust clearance, will be required for this position. As a condition of employment, the selected candidate must successfully complete a comprehensive background screening to obtain the necessary clearance. This process includes, but is not limited to:

•              Fingerprints

•              Credit check

•              Proof of U.S. Citizenship, Acceptable documents may include a U.S. passport, certificate of naturalization, or original/certified birth certificate.

•              Verification of employment history

•              Educational background

•              Criminal record check

•              Tax filing history (possibly)

•              References 

•              Information on relatives including citizenship 

•              7 Year Travel History

•              7 Year Residence History 

•              Government interview completion and favorable background investigation.

•              Other relevant verifications as mandated by federal requirements

Employment is contingent upon the candidate’s ability to meet all requirements for government security and Public Trust clearance. Following hire, failure to maintain this clearance may result in termination of employment.
