Overview

As a Dental Assistant, you’ll play an important role in delivering exceptional patient care and helping the clinical team provide high-quality dentistry. You’ll work alongside dentists, specialists and other dental professionals to help patients feel comfortable and confident throughout their visit. Monday-Thursday 8-5 Friday 8-1
Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients, treatment rooms, instruments and equipment for dental procedures.
  • Assist dentists and specialists during examinations and dental procedures.
  • Take and prepare dental X-rays and other diagnostic records, when permitted by state regulations and within your credentials.
  • Provide patients with clear, compassionate guidance on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
  • Maintain appropriate infection control, sterilization and safety standards.
  • Prepare and maintain dental instruments and supplies.
  • Support an efficient, organized clinical environment.
  • Help create a welcoming, comfortable experience for every patient.
  • Work collaboratively with the entire dental team to deliver exceptional care.

Qualifications

  • Meet all state-specific dental assistant credentialing requirements for the duties assigned in the state of employment.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain before your start date.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A genuine commitment to patient care.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Positive, dependable and willing-to-learn attitude.
  • Previous dental assisting experience preferred, but qualified new dental assistants may be considered depending on the practice and state requirements.

Compensation

$19-$23/hour
