Den Kelly Chevrolet GMC is looking for another salesperson to join our team.

We’re not necessarily looking for someone who has spent years selling cars. We’re looking for someone who is good with people, dependable, comfortable starting conversations, and willing to put in the effort to follow up with customers.

If you’ve worked in sales before, great. If your background is in retail, restaurants, customer service, hospitality, or something completely different, we’re still interested if you have the right personality and work ethic.

The job is pretty straightforward: help customers find the right vehicle, answer their questions, take them on test drives, stay in touch with them, and make sure they have a good experience from beginning to end.

You’ll also be expected to keep up with your customers, make calls and send texts, learn our inventory, and use our CRM to stay organized. We’ll teach you the vehicle knowledge and the sales process. We need you to bring the willingness to learn, communicate, and follow through.

Automotive experience is helpful, but it is absolutely not required.

A valid driver’s license and high school diploma or equivalent are required.

Qualifications:

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Self-motivated, with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required; a degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is a plus.
