About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Commercial Banking Portfolio Coordinator to support Lending Fulfillment Operations as part of Wholesale Operations.

Lending Fulfillment Operations focuses on loan closing and system of record input across the various products and lines of business.

In this role, you will:

  • Ensure credit files are current
  • Interact with the immediate team and Commercial Banking Portfolio Management functional area to review process of companies for providing credits
  • Perform moderately complex credit investigations on companies and industries
  • Receive direction from Commercial Banking Portfolio Management supervisor and escalate noncompliant issues
  • Respond to customer inquiries, generate status reports for management or bankers and contact available sources of information
  • Review credit information of loans for companies and industries including reading and understanding accounting within various financial statements

Required Qualification

  • 1+ years of financial analysis experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.


Desired Qualifications:

  • Accounting or finance experience
  • Ability to read and interpret financial statements
  • Experience analyzing Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Balance Sheets, Income Statements, and Tax Returns
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
  • Experience with one or a combination of the following systems: Automated Financial Systems (AFS); Business Lending and Sales Tracking (BLAST); Credit View; Electronic Reporting and Compliance (ETRAC); EZ Request (EZR); FLO; Hogan; Imaging and Content Management Platform (ICMP); LoanIQ; nCino; Optimist; Store Vision Platform (SVP); Wholesale Banking Reporting System (WBRS)

  • Ability to work additional hours as needed
  • Adhere to standards outlined with written policy as well as applicable State and Federal regulations
