Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Perimeter Inspection in Sunnyvale, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and assist with loss prevention efforts. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while using computer or tablet-based tools as needed. Pay Rate: $18.54 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail and mall areas, including entrances, sales floors, common areas, loading zones, and perimeter locations.
• Observe and report unusual activity, policy violations, maintenance concerns, and potential hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Help to deter theft, unauthorized access, and disruptive behavior through a professional presence and consistent patrol activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
