What You Will Do:

  • Design, implement, and maintain full-stack software applications using Python, SQL, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

  • Develop and integrate back-end data services and RESTful APIs enabling real-time and historical data analytics.

  • Build intuitive front-end interfaces to support operational workflows and data visualization needs.

  • Participate in code reviews, configuration management, and automated testing within a modern CI/CD environment.

  • Work collaboratively with systems, test, and data engineering teams to ensure software components meet overall system objectives.

  • Create and maintain technical documentation, and support design reviews for system functionality and architecture.

  • Modern data-driven architectures including real-time processing, visualization, and analytics pipelines.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or a related STEM field.

  • Proficiency in Python for application development, data processing, or automation.

  • Experience with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for front-end development.

  • Experience working in Linux or cross-platform environments.

  • Understanding of version control tools such as Git.

  • Ability to learn new technologies and work effectively within a collaborative Agile team.

  • U.S. citizenship required and ability to obtain a U.S. Secret security clearance.


Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Familiarity with web application architectures and technologies such as REST, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Redis.

  • Exposure to real-time systems, distributed architectures, or mission-support software (e.g., visualization dashboards, situational awareness systems, telemetry pipelines).

  • Internship or project experience with dashboard development, data integration, and cross-domain systems

  • Prior RTX or defense-related experience, or demonstrated interest in domains such as aerospace, command-and-control, sensor systems, or intelligence applications.

  • Familiarity with automated testing, CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI), or IaC tools.

  • Strong communication, documentation, and problem‑solving abilities.

The salary range for this role is 62,900 USD - 119,700 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
