Job Summary:

The Marketing Coordinator provides support for the Marketing function at St. Elizabeth. They help execute the marketing plan through flawless execution of all aspects of promotion, marketing, media and communication for key strategic services areas. Partner closely with creative design services, digital communications and media relations to do so. Determine effectiveness and regularly report on the impact of marketing and communications. Maintain strong relationships within key service areas, especially with administrative leadership and physicians. In this position, the Coordinator reports to the Marketing Manager, and works closely with system leadership. In addition, they will work closely with department colleagues, administrators, leaders and other professionals across St. Elizabeth Healthcare.

Job Description:

  • Assist key service line marketing manager in executing the annual marketing plan for the service line.

  • Develop expertise in the service line – business drivers and market dynamics, competitive advantages, consumer/patient needs of the target audience, message strategy and go-to-market media plans.
  • Be a go-to partner and creative force for all areas throughout the service line for the department.
  • Lead interactions and collaborate closely with assigned areas in the service line (clinical teams), inter-department functions and partnering agencies.
  • Delivery owner for key service line marketing projects:

  • CRM campaigns, patient experience initiatives, advertising/content, community outreach efforts, physician/clinical specific promotions, media planning, PR, and creating/executing the web site.
  • Support and guide key activations with new offerings withing the key service line.
  • Primary focus is on executing details of events or PR initiatives or supporting service line requests.
  • Provide analytical support to understand what’s working and not working to adjust and improve service plans accordingly.
  • Develop deep expertise in the business drivers, target audience changes/needs and the investment choices for the service line’s media.
  • Lead execution in CRM/digital media.
  • Provide regular perspective/direction on service line plans.
  • Help manage the budget.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education, Credentials, Licenses:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, communications, or related field.

Specialized Knowledge: 

  • Demonstrated ability in supporting marketing and communication planning, including identifying key target audiences, executing insightful communication strategies and go-to-market plans.
  • Experience with project management around event coordination, advertising development, promotional campaigns, media/business analytics and CRM.

Kind and Length of Experience: 

  • Minimum of 1 year exp in marketing communications, or public relations.
