Serve Up Great Food and Great Experiences

As a Cafe Associate at Sam's Club, you'll help turn everyday visits into something members look forward to. From fresh, ready-to-enjoy favorites to quick, friendly service, you'll be part of the team that keeps our cafe welcoming, energized, and full of the quality members expect.

In this role, you'll spend your day preparing and serving food items, monitoring freshness and food safety, stocking displays, and supporting a fast-paced, high-volume cafe while delivering a great member experience.

What You'll Do
• Prepare food to item specifications, planning for daily production, mass production, and seasonality
• Follow food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, Cold Chain compliance, and inventory management practices
• Stock and rotate merchandise; ensure quality and date control standards; eliminate waste
• Use hand-held technology to make in-the-moment decisions about production, ordering, and product quality
• Assist members with purchasing decisions, payment types, locating merchandise, and resolving issues
• Support receiving club pick-up orders and stock displays with proper containers and packaging
• Keep the cafe area clean, sanitized, and member-ready
• Operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment safely and effectively

The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 to $27.00*

*The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.

Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
