Responsibilities

Responsible for the reception and preparation of patient specimens for examination and maintaining the histology laboratory area. This includes documenting processes, monitoring inventory, and assisting the Pathologist within the scope of practice.

Qualifications

You have hands-on experience handling histology specimens and preparing samples for examination in a histology laboratory. You can perform accurate documentation, monitor inventory, and assist the Pathologist within the histology technician scope while ensuring adherence to department policies. You maintain a clean, well-organized lab environment and support other duties as needed.
