Qualifications

You are a Registered or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) prepared to support cardiology workflows, including rooming patients, obtaining vitals and histories, and assisting physicians during examinations. You have experience documenting in Electronic Medical Records (EMR), handling scheduling and pre-certifications/authorizations, and performing routine clerical tasks while adhering to HIPAA, OSHA, and Bloodborne Pathogen regulations. You hold a high school diploma or equivalent with completion of a CMA program or related credential, and you are ready for full-time work in a busy clinical setting.

Job Description

Scheduling appointments;

Pre-certifications/authorizations;

Telephone calls;

Interaction with ancillary services;

Routine clerical functions;

Documentation in electronic medical records;

Cleaning, monitoring, and stocking exam rooms;

Rooming patients,

Obtaining vitals and histories,

Assisting Physician/Provider with examinations and in-office duties;

As expected with all healthcare positions, must adhere to HIPAA/OSHA/BLOODBORNE PATHOGEN regulations and maintain associated workplace trainings.
