Job Description

A busy manufacturing facility in Navasota, TX is seeking a dedicated CNC Machinist to join our team. We offer on-the-job training and the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, precision-focused environment. We are looking for a reliable team player with strong attention to detail and excellent attendance.

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
Location: Navasota, TX

Schedule & Shift Details

Shift: Night Shift

Hours:

  • 5:30 PM - 3:30 AM (10-hour shift)
  • 5:30 PM - 5:30 AM (12-hour shift)

Shift length and workdays may vary depending on production needs and workload.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor CNC machines to produce high-quality precision parts.
  • Set up tools, fixtures, and materials according to specifications.
  • Calculate and adjust machine settings for optimal performance and production output.
  • Perform in-process inspections to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Identify and correct machine malfunctions or out-of-tolerance conditions.
  • Follow all company safety standards and procedures at all times.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Excellent attendance and punctuality are required.
  • Previous CNC machining experience with Mazak, Okuma, and/or SL80 machines is highly preferred.
  • Experience with Mori Seiki machines is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and basic math skills, including fractions and decimals.
  • Willingness to learn and train on additional machines as needed.
  • Ability to stand for 8-12 hours in a manufacturing environment.

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • CNC programming experience preferred.
  • Experience using hand tools preferred.

Interview Process

  • All interviews will be conducted in person at the Navasota facility.
  • The hiring manager will begin the interview process after the New Year.
