Qualifications

You should have basic math and literacy skills, be able to read and write small letters and numbers, and lift up to 70 pounds; forklift experience is preferred but training is provided. This is a full-time role with a 90-day orientation, hours 8:15 am to 4:45 pm, starting at $18/hour with benefits.

Job Description

Kimball Midwest, a national distributor of maintenance, repair, and operation products, is searching for a Receiver for our Savannah, GA location.

The Receiver plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our receiving department by ensuring all incoming merchandise is accurately unloaded, identified, and distributed throughout the warehouse.

Responsibilities:

  • Performs the day to day operations of the receiving department
  • Unloads, identifies, and distributes incoming merchandise 
  • Forklift
  • Correctly labels all boxes
  • Maintains the quality of the product

Qualifications

  • Forklift experience preferred but willing to train
  • This position requires the ability to read and write small letters and numbers; the ability to make arithmetic calculations; and the ability to understand written and oral instructions
  • This position requires the ability to concentrate and to communicate with management and co-workers
  • This position requires the ability to follow oral and written instructions
  • This position requires the ability to lift objects weighing seventy (70) pounds
  • This position requires the successful completion of a ninety (90) day orientation period

Additional Information

Starting rate is $18.00 per hour.

Up to $200 monthly BONUSES available!

The hours are 8:15am-4:45pm, Monday- Friday.
