Overview

SUMMARY 

Provides assistance and support for behavioral health services under the direction or supervision of licensed staff at the assigned work site.


Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS  To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT

Associate's degree from a 2-year college or technical school; or two years (60 credit hours) coursework from 4-year college or university; or three years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prefer a Bachelor's degree.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT  

No additional experience required.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS  

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such a probability and statistical inference and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.  Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

COMPUTER SKILLS

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet software, Spreadsheet software, and Word Processing software.

REASONING ABILITY  

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.  Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS 

Must possess a valid driver's license with a driving history verified through a motor vehicle report that meets requirements for Cherokee Nation underwriting rating.  Duties may involve travel to multiple work sites.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS

Must meet and maintain periodic background investigation and adjudication for child care.

Educated on and compliant with HIPAA regulations; maintains strict confidentiality of client information.
