Position & Office Overview

As a Junior Quality Assurance Analyst, you are detail orientated and proactive in your assignments. You will become comfortable testing during the whole life cycle of software development. You are passionate about ensuring that thorough product testing is performed and that the agreed upon quality standards are met. Responsibilities

  • Under direct supervision, the Junior Quality Assurance Analyst verifies that software changes by developers function as documented and without errors 
  • Document issues found during testing and follow issues through resolution 
  • The position involves close interaction with the development and functional team members 
  • Execute manual functional testing based on analysis and understanding of the required deployment environment and verify those test results through analysis of graphical user interfaces, databases, printed output, and data transmissions 
  • Analyze requirements (solution comments, design specifications, and other documentation) and creates test cases to exercise product functionality 
  • Document and communicate issues found during testing and works with Development to resolve the issue
  • Provide management with requirements coverage analysis reports, test run results, and defect tracking reports 
  • Build and executes test scripts utilizing approved automation tools 
  • Assist Development Support experts in troubleshooting customer-reported issues 

Qualifications

  • BS in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • 0 - 2 years of related experience

The expected pay range for this role and location is $75,000. The final agreed-upon compensation will be determined based on specific location and other individual qualifications
