Inside New Business Development Representative (iNBD)

The Inside New Business Development (iNBD) Representative is responsible for driving profitable revenue growth through the acquisition of new business. This role focuses on consulting with small-cap private companies, agencies, and non-profit organizations to uncover their communication strategies and align them with PR Newswire solutions.

What You'll Bring 

  • Qualify inbound leads and assess client needs based on their communication strategy
  • Conduct inbound sales calls with professionalism and a consultative approach
  • Develop and deliver customized sales proposals and presentations to prospective clients
  • Maintain an organized pipeline and update CRM with detailed notes and next steps
  • Generate persuasive sales communication via phone, web, and email
  • Perform proactive follow-up to nurture leads and guide them through the buyer journey
  • Negotiate pricing and contract terms to successfully close new business
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless client experience
  • Serve as a strategic advisor and brand ambassador, educating prospects on the full value of Cision’s solutions
  • Identify and convert competitor accounts by offering tailored package-based solutions
