Job Description

Overview:

Hybrid 4 days in office, salary dependent on location

Analyze, review and evaluate the validity, formula valuations, credit worthiness and collectability of accounts receivable to reduce risk of charge-offs and to correlate the findings and results with the customers eligibility to borrow.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Analyze, review and evaluate monthly customer accounts receivable aging’s to ascertain validity for portfolio of formula based lines of credit. Calculate ineligible figure utilizing aging information from customer. Calculate collateral availability and process line of credit requests accordingly.   Work directly with customer to resolve discrepancies.   Analyze and review clients financial statements, reporting discrepancies.  Work directly with Loan Examiners and Loan Administration Department. Identify suspected deficiencies in field examinations, reporting deficiencies to management.     Prepare collateral and loan trend reporting.  Report delinquent reporting exceptions.
  • Understand and adhere to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Company’s Risk Appetite.  Design, implement, maintain and enhance internal controls to mitigate risk on an ongoing basis.  Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.
  • Promote an environment that supports belonging and reflects the M&T Bank brand.
  • Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.
  • Complete other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Required:

Associate's degree

1 year commercial banking or related experience

Strong math skills and proficient with Microsoft Office

M&T Bank is committed to fair, competitive, and market-informed pay for our employees. The pay range for this position is $22.61 - $37.67 Hourly (USD). The successful candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, and experience will inform their specific compensation.
