Job Summary

Supports Senior Director-Commercial Card and Business Development Director with revenue generating and client retention activities. Works closely with Commercial Card Sales Team in the development of proposals and sales presentations. Participates in pre- and post-sale activities including coordination of pre-call plan and call debrief sessions as requested. May have direct responsibility across a certain portion of the Commercial Card portfolio including direct sales via telephone. Contributes to team revenue goals through individual sales generation.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepares prospect decks for new and existing clients working closely with Commercial Card Business Development Sales. Compiles data and partners with Commercial Card team to support growth and profitability by identifying ways to streamline card programs, escalate issues to management and LOB partners, maintain understanding of technology supporting the Commercial Card and provide analysis information to assist in the sales process.
  • Coordinates kick-off call with customer and applicable internal partners. Researches customer relationships within the bank and prepares consultative review decks and pitch books, in preparation for calls with customers. Coordinates calls with product partners and Commercial Card Business Development to develop implementation plans and to research solution details.
  • Assists Business Development, onboarding team and other partners with implementation coordination for new and existing customers. Contacts new customers in partnership with Commercial Card team to ensure satisfaction with service delivery and the smooth implementation of new Commercial Card programs.
  • Provides support to customers including assisting with implementation documentation, answering questions, and ensuring the proper completion of returned documents. Reviews internal tracking reports and provides follow-up on product implementation requests. Assists customers with product orientation and training as needed.
  • Works with Commercial Card team and Business Development throughout the sales cycle to manage pipeline and ensure services and pricing are accurately established. Coordinates with internal partners to ensure successful implementation, product ramp-up and accurate program design to meet the program objectives.
  • Identifies and understands customer product needs for potential cross sell opportunities in support of revenue goals. Identifies opportunities to deepen existing customer relationships by offering solutions to meet identified needs in a knowledgeable, accurate and professional manner. Supports demonstration of basic technology solution and coordinates technology integration/custom file deliverables.
  • Understands the Commercial Card Program, technology, workflows and flexible program features and benefits. Maintains competitive positioning and differentiation for the Commercial Card products, services and technology integration.
  • Each team member is expected to be aware of risk within their functional area. This includes observing all policies, procedures, laws, regulations and risk limits specific to their role. Additionally, they should raise and report known or suspected violations to the appropriate Company authority in a timely fashion.
  • Performs other related duties as required.

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience:

  • One year of commercial or small business card experience.
