BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

B.S. in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university or equivalent experience in a related field. MSEE is a plus.
0-3 years of professional hands-on experience in Electrical Engineering.
Comfort working with:
- Command-line tools
- Technical/debug environments
Strong attention to detail in measurement and data recording
Ability to:
- Follow structured test procedures
- Document test conditions accurately
Strong curiosity and problem-solving mindset
Good organizational and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced debugging environment
Up to 20% of travel may be required between locations.
Ability to travel for work-related purposes as needed; access to reliable transportation is required due to the nature of our business and multiple client sites.
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Background checks are required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience with:
- Hardware bring-up
- Power measurement
- Battery testing
Familiarity with:
- Android debugging tools (ADB)
- Mobile configuration systems
Basic scripting skills:
- Python
- Bash

RESPONSIBILITIES:

This role focuses on supporting power and battery-life validation (DOU) for next-generation wearable devices.
Execute repeatable power and DOU (Days of Use) test procedures on hardware devices
Flash device builds (user-debug / OCB) and configure system settings (MCCLI overrides)
Capture and log:
- Power-rail measurements
- Battery performance data
Organize and maintain structured test data and reports
Track test runs in shared systems and flag anomalies early
Collaborate with engineers to:
- Reproduce bugs/regressions
- Validate fixes

The salary range for this position is based on national rates. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Base Salary: $72,000.00 - $105,000.00. Andrews Cooper is an equal-opportunity employer.
