About the Sales and Events Coordinator position

The Catering Sales and Events Coordinator will support the Sales, Catering, Events and Marketing team in servicing events throughout our hotel's function spaces and dining outlets. Responsible for assisting with event management for entertainment groups, small events services, and room block event services. 

A little taste of your day-to-day

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

  • Provide administrative and logistical support to the sales team, including preparing sales materials, presentations, and reports. 
  • Assist in the preparation of proposals, contracts, and other sales-related documents, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery. 
  • Coordinate site visits, hotel tours, and client meetings, ensuring all arrangements are handled professionally. 
  • Manage and update sales databases, ensuring all client information and sales activities are accurately recorded. 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring their requests are handled efficiently.
  • Coordinate with other hotel departments (e.g., front office, catering, events) to ensure seamless service delivery for clients.
  • Process sales-related expenses and invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Maintain organized filing systems and ensure all sales-related documents are readily accessible.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for client inquiries, providing prompt, professional, and informative responses via phone, email, and in person.

Qualifications and Expectations:

  • College degree preferably in Hospitality, Marketing or Business 
  • Strong written and oral English language skills.
  • Prior hotel and/or events experience preferred. 
  • May be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays

The hourly pay range for the role is $23.
