Your Summer at ALPFA — 2026 Intern Program
This is a 10-week paid, remote internship (June 22 – August 28, 2026) however, “remote internship” doesn’t quite capture it.
You’ll own a real project that matters to a national organization, with a people manager and teammates invested in your growth along with a built-in cohort of fellow interns with you.
You’ll start with a Week 1 orientation that gets you connected and confident, check in at the mid-point so there are no surprises, and finish by presenting your summer’s work directly to ALPFA’s senior leaders and your peers.
The highlight: Every intern travels to the ALPFA National Convention (August 9–13) with us. Flights, hotel, and meals are covered. You’ll work the largest gathering of Latino professionals in the country, build your network, and see the mission you’re contributing to come alive in person.
Duration: 10 weeks (June 22 – August 28, 2026)
Observed Holiday: Independence Day (Fri, July 3, 2026)
Location: Remote. This is a remote role open to candidates located in Texas, Florida, South Carolina, or Pennsylvania. Applicants must reside in one of these states for the duration of the internship.
Travel Requirement: Travel to and work the ALPFA National Convention (August 9–13, 2026). Travel, lodging, and meals are covered by ALPFA. (Travel dates based on team needs and subject to change)
Key Learning Opportunities:
Hands-on experience designing survey instruments and mapping questions to defined KPIs and outcomes.
Practical skills building and maintaining a reporting data pipeline and data collection crosswalk.
Exposure to registration data quality auditing, segmentation, and partner ROI reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Build the Day 7, Day 30, Day 60, and 6-Month post-convention survey instruments, ensuring each question maps to a defined KPI, outcome category, owner, and reporting window.
Maintain the master data collection crosswalk documenting each metric capture method, timing, availability, department owner, and audience lens.
Support the build and publishing cadence of the 7/30/60 convention Scoreboard, aggregating survey, registration, scan, and partner data.
Audit Cvent registration data for completeness and consistency across the five baseline routing questions, flagging gaps affecting downstream segmentation.
Support preparation of Tier 1 partner ROI briefs for the 14-day post-event reporting package.
Deliver a capstone presentation in the final week of the program (August 24–28), summarizing summer projects and outcomes to ALPFA leadership.
Basic Qualifications
Currently enrolled undergraduate student (rising senior).
Analytical thinking and comfort working with structured data sets.
Proficiency in Google Workspace, including formulas, pivot tables, and data validation.
Strong written communication for reporting and documentation.
