Estamos buscando gente responsable y jaladora para trabajar en proyectos de paisajismo.Es trabajo físico en equipo instalando plantas, riego y piedra (pavers, hardscape).
No importa si no tienes experiencia — si le echas ganas, aquí puedes crecer rápido.En SJ Ward, subes de nivel por cómo trabajas, lo que aprendes y tu actitud — no solo por el tiempo.

Pago Inicial (Según Experiencia)

Nivel de Entrada – Aprendiz

$20/hr

•  No necesitas experiencia 
•  Aquí aprendes desde cero 
•  Buscamos que seas puntual, responsable y con ganas de trabajar 

Nivel 1 – Miembro del Equipo

$22–$23/hr

•  Ya tienes algo de experiencia en construcción o landscaping 
•  Puedes hacer trabajo básico sin que te estén diciendo todo 
•  Mantienes buen ritmo y sabes cómo se mueve el jale 

Qué Vas a Hacer

•  Plantar árboles, plantas y poner pasto (sod) 
•  Ayudar con riego (zanjas, tubería, aspersores, válvulas) 
•  Apoyar en piedra/pavers (preparar base, nivelar, instalar) 
•  Cargar y descargar material 
•  Mantener el área limpia y organizada 
•  Usar herramientas de forma segura 
•  Seguir instrucciones del Foreman y no perder el ritmo

•  Llegar a tiempo todos los días 
•  Echarle ganas y no aflojar 
•  Seguir instrucciones y preguntar si no entiendes 
•  Hacer trabajo bien hecho (no chueco ni a medias) 
•  Trabajar seguro y respetar al equipo 

Requisitos

•  Aguantar trabajo físico todo el día 
•  Poder levantar más de 50 lbs 
•  Trabajar en frío, calor, lo que toque 
•  Tener cómo llegar al trabajo 
•  Licencia es un plus 

Crecimiento (Subes Rápido Si Trabajas Bien)

• Nivel 2 – Trabajador bueno ($24–$25/hr)
• Nivel 3 – Líder ($26–$28/hr)
• Foreman ($30+/hr)

Position Overview

We’re hiring reliable, hard-working team members to build high-quality landscape projects.This is a hands-on role working on a crew installing planting, irrigation, and hardscape. Whether you’re new to the industry or have experience, we have a clear path for you to grow.At SJ Ward, advancement is based on performance, skill, and attitude — not just time.

Starting Pay (Based on Experience)

Entry Level – Apprentice

$20/hr

•  No experience required 
•  Focus on learning, reliability, and work ethic 
•  You’ll be trained on tools, safety, and basic field work 

Level 1 – Crew Member

$22–$23/hr

•  Some landscaping or construction experience preferred 
•  Able to complete basic tasks independently 
•  Understands jobsite flow and maintains productivity 

What You’ll Do

•  Install trees, shrubs, sod, and landscape materials 
•  Assist with irrigation installs (trenching, pipe, heads, valves) 
•  Support hardscape work (base prep, pavers, grading) 
•  Load/unload materials and keep jobsites clean and organized 
•  Operate hand tools and basic equipment safely 
•  Follow direction from the Foreman and stay productive throughout the day

Requirements

•  Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions 
•  Able to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical work daily 
•  Reliable transportation 
•  Driver’s license is a plus 

Growth Path

• Level 3 – Crew Lead ($26–$28/hr)
