We are looking for a Maintenance Shop Clerk to join the team at our Great Waste location in Opa Locka, FL. This position will provide maintenance parts inventory & parts order processing to our site.

6:30am to 5:00pm Monday through Saturday as needed. Pay range $20 to $23 an hour DOE

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Conduct self in an appropriate and safe manner, in accordance with District Safety policies.
Administer and maintain parts and supplies inventories utilizing company maintenance tracking software and other various systems.
Perform annual and monthly stock inventories as directed utilizing company maintenance software data entry and reconciliation.
Purchase and track all maintenance parts, goods and services as directed.
Administer and maintain company warranty program and tracking through maintenance tracking software.
Stocks shelves clean and maintain maintenance facility to insure a safe and orderly work area in accordance with all District / Company requirements.
Research parts through parts manuals, OEM, and vendor interaction.
Perform clerical duties as required.
Loading and unloading of parts and supplies from company, vendor, or delivery vehicles.
Operate company vehicle to pick up and deliver parts and supplies as needed.
Purchase and track all maintenance parts, goods and services as directed.
All other job-related duties as assigned.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:

Work environment will mostly be indoors in the shop. May be outdoors at times or on the road
Noise level is usually moderate.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to read, write, comprehend and communicate in English.
Spanish language skills a plus
Basic knowledge of truck components in order to process parts inventory & order records.
