Job Summary:

The Return Mail clerk is responsible for logging the items that have come back to the Bank as return mail. Once logged the clerk will conduct maintenance on the account to suppress any future statements from printing to the bad address.

Job Description:

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Create reports and logs in excel for returned items
  • Assist with on the job training/cross training of employees
  • Identify and escalate high priority or out of ordinary situations/requests and handle them accordingly
  • Assist with other audits as assigned during the day
  • Assist with phone calls when needed
  • Ability to create recap reports for manager

SKILLS

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines as assigned
  • Ability to utilize multiple computer applications/ programs efficiently
  • Able to communicate with Supervisor when issues arise
  • Enjoy working with details
  • Self-sufficient and organized - manual process

EDUCATION & KNOWLEDGE

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Computer literate and have some working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Effective English verbal and written communication skills, Bilingual Spanish is a plus
  • At least 1 year of customer service working experience
