Our Front Desk Agents are the face of our company, setting the tone for outstanding customer service by greeting our guests in a friendly manner, ensuring a prompt and courteous check in and check out process, and coordinating guest services as needed. The right candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills and the ability to handle problems that arise with poise and a positive attitude.
Responsibilities  
  • Greet and welcome all guests
  • Take and confirm guest reservations
  • Answer phone calls in a professional and courteous manner, promptly relaying messages as required
  • Monitor, organize and forward emails as needed
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to accommodate guest service requests
  • Communicate room offerings and on-site amenities to current and potential guests 
  • Keep ice, snacks, drinks and merchandise stocked and ready for guest purchase
  • Provide knowledgeable suggestions of local restaurants and attractions
  • Accurately post room charges and taxes to guest folios
  • Verify account postings and balances
  • Enhance guest experience by evaluating guest feedback, following up with guests
  • Summarize operations and prepare reports for management as required
  • Perform other duties as assigned 

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Good understanding of office administration and basic bookkeeping practices
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
  • Prior experience using hotel reservation software (i.e. Cloudbeds, Infor, etc.) preferred
  • Ability to work at least 25 hours per week - weekends and holidays required
  • Bilingual Spanish/English preferred

  • $18 to $19 per hour, based on experience
