Utility Worker

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist with general cleaning and maintenance tasks across various client sites

- Handle waste disposal, recycling, and restocking supplies as needed

- Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, and pressure washers

- Support janitorial staff with tasks requiring additional manpower

- Ensure all work areas are maintained in a safe and organized manner

- Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and equipment

Requirements

Skills and Qualifications:

- Prior experience in janitorial or maintenance work preferred

- Floor Shampooing and Carpet Care:

- Stripping and Waxing

- Buffing and Burnishing

- Deep Tile and Grout Cleaning

- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work

- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions

- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team

- Knowledge of safety procedures related to cleaning chemicals and equipment
