Preschool Teacher

The Learning Experience – Beltline is seeking a caring and dependable Preschool Teacher to support children in a structured classroom environment focused on kindergarten readiness, independence, and social-emotional development.

This role is ideal for educators who enjoy guiding young learners through engaging routines, hands-on learning experiences, and classroom activities that build confidence and early academic foundations.

Key Responsibilities

•  Support daily preschool classroom routines and learning activities 
•  Implement developmentally appropriate experiences that encourage early literacy and math readiness 
•  Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment 
•  Guide children through transitions including meals, rest time, and learning centers 
•  Encourage social-emotional growth and positive classroom participation 
•  Communicate regularly with families regarding classroom updates and progress 
•  Collaborate with teaching team members and center leadership 
•  Follow Michigan childcare licensing requirements and center policies 

Qualifications

•  High school diploma or GED required 
•  Prior preschool or childcare experience preferred 
•  Strong communication and teamwork skills 
•  Reliable, patient, and nurturing approach to working with children 
•  Must meet Michigan childcare licensing requirements
