Qualifications

You have a high school diploma or GED, and have graduated from an Operating Room Technician Program or equivalent. You are certified as a Surgical Technician and have at least one year of experience as an Operating Room Technician or demonstrated ability to perform operative case scrub experience. You also hold a BLS Certification.

Job Description

The O.R. Technician will assist surgeons with draping the patient and maintaining principles of aseptic technique and instrumentation and supplies required to execute a safe and expedient surgical procedure.

Qualifications

Candidates must have:
• HS Diploma/GED
• Graduation from Operating Room Technician Program or equivalent
• Certification as Surgical Technician                                                                    • 1 year of experience as an Operating Room Technician or demonstrated ability to perform operative case scrub experience
• BLS Certification
