Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is hiring a Direct Support Professional in Charlottesville, Virginia.

POSITION OVERVIEW
• Meaningful outpatient Direct Support Professional role supporting adults with developmental disabilities
• Help individuals build daily living skills, participate in community activities, and engage in social and recreational opportunities
• Implement individualized support plans within a structured, team-supported environment

SCHEDULE
• Sunday through Thursday schedule
• 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM

• Starting hourly rate: $17.37/hour
• $2/hour shift differential

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
• Support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in outpatient and community settings
• Assist individuals with life skills, social engagement, recreation, and community integration
• Follow individualized support plans and structured programming guidelines
• Document services and progress within established systems
• Collaborate with team members to promote safety, dignity, independence, and quality of life
• Provide mission-driven support in a respectful, person-centered environment

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED REQUIRED
• Interest in supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities REQUIRED
• Comfortable providing skills training and community integration support REQUIRED
• Strong teamwork, communication, and documentation skills REQUIRED
• Mission-driven, patient, and dependable approach REQUIRED
• Human services experience preferred but not required for motivated candidates
