Responsibilities
The Medical Assistant is responsible for preparing patients for examinations, recording vitals, and performing clinical tasks such as injections and phlebotomy. They also manage exam room sterilization, document patient care in electronic records, and coordinate follow-up appointments.
Qualifications
You have a high school graduate or equivalent education and possess at least one year of relevant experience. You are proficient in essential medical assistant duties, including preparing patients, taking vital signs, administering treatments, and managing specimens. You also hold a current BLS certification and ideally a Medical Assistant certification (RMA, AAMA, NCCT, CMAC, AMCA).
