Job DetailsLevel: EntryJob Location: Company Headquarters - Saint Paul, MN 55114Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: High SchoolSalary Range: $20.00 - $24.00 HourlyJob Shift: DayYOU WOULD BE A GOOD FIT IF YOU:  Formulate goals and habits with clients that encourage independence  Engage naturally in personal connection and active listening  Adapt to the needs of a diverse caseload  Collaborate with clients to determine practical steps to solve problems  Are experienced with IHS, ARMHS, or other mental health services (not required) Are both a self-starter and work cohesively with a team    SCHEDULE AND COMPENSATION:  Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm Must be available one weekend (Saturday - Sunday), 10am - 6pm every six weeks for rotational on-call $20-$24/hour, dependent on experience    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:  Valid driver’s license, access to a reliable vehicle and comfortability meeting clients in the community  1 year of full-time work experience of human/social services  At least six months of coaching experience in any field (preferred)    MORE ON THE ROLE:  As a Mental Health Specialist, you will serve a caseload of 16 to 18 clients with whom you will create individualized support plans and help pursue long-term stability while responding to immediate needs. 80% of your scheduled week will be in the community, driving to individuals’ own homes, and helping clients create plans and problem solve to continue residing in their own home. 20% of your week, you will be in the office answering client calls and being available for immediate in-person responses.    You will coach clients through daily life stressors and walk them through our proven problem-solving process. You will help clients process their emotions and overcome challenges in their life with the goal of reducing hospitalizations and the need for emergency services through de-escalation. We find that people who are a good fit for this role are adept at taking initiative with problem solving in their own lives.    It is a great way to expand your skills in de-escalation, goal setting, and mental health first aid.
