Role:

Performs maintenance duties and assists in sanitation control. Assists or repairs any damage to Tribal buildings as needed. Performs lawn maintenance and upkeep on Nation grounds. Assist in any minor construction repair regarding fencing, buildings, walkways, etc. Seasonal upkeep/maintenance (snow removal, ice preventative measures, leaf removal, flower planting, ground watering, etc.). Maintains Prairie People's Park and Tribal buildings. Assists in preparation for upcoming events. This position will take part in a skilled trade apprenticeship during mowing offseason limited to one of the following trades Electrical, Commercial HVAC, or Plumbing.

Minimum Requirements:

Driving Requirements: Valid driver's license free of occupational restrictions. Must be insurable with the Nation's insurance carrier.

Experience: 1-2 years of applicable lawn, horticulture/gardening, or groundskeeping experience. Strong interest in self-development and desire to learn chosen trade.

Education: A high school diploma or GED.
