Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Machine Technician (Roll Mill) 2nd Shift at our Reno, NV location!  The hourly rate for this position is $30.18 per hour + $0.50 per hour shift premium.

CORE HOURS:  2:30PM - 11PM (Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times)

What you’ll do:

• Operate assigned machines/presses
• Troubleshoot various machinery problems
• Perform coil changes 
• QC and document all parts run on machines
• Retrieve and enter data into SAP computer system
• Verify inventory of components and supplies as needed to ensure efficient and timely production
• Keep work areas clean and safe
• Other various duties and responsibilities as may be assigned

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

• No relocation package offered. Candidates must reside within 50 miles of the work location to be considered for this position. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience confirming that parts conform to specs using measuring tools.
• A minimum of 6 months of experience with forming or bending machines
• A minimum of 6 months of experience reading drawings or blueprints

Skills:

• Able to operate machinery and presses safely
• Able to read and accurately interpret and produce parts from blueprints and shop drawings 
• Able to identify different gauges and types of raw material
• Able to work effectively and productively as member of a team with minimal supervision

Physical Requirements:

• Able to stand on feet continuously during working shift, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment as required by company policy and procedure.

• Fast paced working, while maintaining safety priorities
