We have PTO that accrues weekly, seven paid holidays (eligible after 30 days from start), and 401(k) with company match.     Visit our website www.owenequipment.com for an overview of our company.    Job Description:  As a Truck Equipment Installer Upfitter technician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various truck bodies and equipment, such as dump bodies, flatbeds, water tanks, plows, chippers, and custom-built machines. You will also perform 12v electrical installation, mig welding, fabrication, and troubleshooting tasks.     Requirements: To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:      High school diploma or equivalent.   At least one year of experience in the commercial truck/truck equipment industry.   Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.   Experience with welding dual shield and hardwire.  Ability to read and follow blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.   Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools and other specialized equipment.   Access to tools such as wrenches, sockets, drills, impacts, and grinders.   Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.   Ability to work independently and as part of a team.   Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in various weather conditions.   Attention to detail, quality, and safety.     If you are a great team player with a strong work ethic and a great attitude and are interested in joining a fast-growing company with opportunities for advancement, please apply online or feel free to drop in and apply in person.    EEO Statement: Owen Companies are Equal Opportunity Employers.
