Job Description

Position Purpose

Under general supervision, the Harvest Test Stand Operator responsible for performing all test stand operational tasks. Work rotation may include operating sampling devices, sorting samples, entering data into software systems, directing truck drivers, and cleaning.

Functional Responsibility

Essential Duties

  • Greets grape truck divers and direct them where to go next
  • Receives and verifies complete paperwork for each truck
  • Enters data into Delicato’s software system
  • Operates the sampling arm to pull samples from grape delivery trucks
  • Processes samples and sends them to the appropriate place
  • Measures the temperature of samples
  • Returns samples to grape delivery trucks
  • Tracks delivery schedule status for the day
  • Contacts the appropriate personnel when grapes do not meet quality standards
  • Completes daily cleaning tasks as assigned

Minimum Requirements

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Experience working with computers

  • Ability to learn a new operation quickly and follow the SOPs as written
  • Ability to work well with a team in a high pace environment
