Monday - Saturday availability

8:00AM - 6:00PM

About the Role:

The Noodle Prep is responsible for the preparation and production of fresh noodle and dough-based items in a high-volume production environment. This role ensures product quality, consistency, and food safety by following Din Tai Fung recipes, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and all applicable regulatory requirements. The Noodle Prep supports efficient operations through accurate batch production, proper handling and storage of ingredients, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

COMPENSATION: $22.75/hour

 The base salary or hourly wage range for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market factors. Range is not inclusive of potential bonus or benefits. Your recruiter can share more information about the salary range and other factors during the hiring process.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Measure and mix ingredients using commercial equipment to produce dough in accordance with standardized recipes and batch requirements, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Prepare and form noodle products, wonton skins, and specialty dough items according to company specifications, maintaining portion accuracy and production efficiency.
  • Execute production schedules and complete required logs accurately, ensuring traceability, proper yields, and alignment with operational needs.
  • Receive and inspect ingredients from vendors and warehouse deliveries to ensure quality, freshness, and adherence to company standards.
  • Label, organize, package, and store finished products in accordance with food safety regulations and company procedures, ensuring proper rotation and inventory control.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the noodle department, including machinery, equipment, tools, and workstations, in compliance with food safety standards and company expectations.

Job Requirements:

  • Food Handler’s Certification (or ability to obtain prior to hire)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a high-volume environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and consistency
  • Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices

Essential Functions:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs
  • Frequent use of hands for food preparation and equipment operation
  • Ability to work in hot and cold temperature environments
  • Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions
  • Use of required personal protective equipment (e.g., cut-resistant gloves, chemical gloves, goggles)
  • Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively
