Job Description

Job Summary
Under the direction of the NA Inventory Control Supervisor, the Cycle Count Clerk is responsible for assisting in the maintenance of inventory accuracy. The Cycle Count Clerk ensures inventory integrity through daily cycle counting, variance analysis, and effective communication with internal teams. This will be achieved while maintaining HellermannTyton's Quality and EHS certifications by supporting all corporate policies, procedures, work instructions and required documentation.

Essential Functions:

  • Perform daily cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Review, analyze, and reconcile count results with Inventory Control Systems Analysts.
  • Assist in investigating inventory discrepancies, determining root causes and documenting findings.
  • Coordinate with Warehouse, Production, and Purchasing to resolve count variances.
  • Enter cycle count data and inventory variances into the ERP system with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Interpret and utilize bin locator systems, date codes, and related inventory tools.

Other Functions

  • Maintain inter-company communications.
  • Obtain operations and product knowledge.
  • Familiar with the use of ERP system.
  • Assist in bi-annual physical inventory.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

  • Ability to read and interpret documents.
  • Basic computer knowledge/skills. 
  • 1-2 years experience Inventory Maintenance preferred.
  • Appropriate use of PPE.
  • Ability to safely use forklift.
  • Able to stand/walk for up to 10 hours.
  • Prior knowledge of HT GH facility, its operations, and processes required.
