Job Description

2026–2027 School Year |$5,000 Placement Bonus| Full-Time | Special Education Teacher | No IEP Case Management | Paraprofessional Classroom Support

About the Role

We are looking for a passionate Special Education Teacher who wants to focus on what truly matters: supporting students, building relationships, and making a meaningful impact in the classroom.

This opportunity offers a highly supportive teaching environment where you can spend more time teaching and connecting with students — and less time buried in paperwork. Teachers in this role receive dedicated paraprofessional classroom support and do not carry IEP case management responsibilities, allowing you to focus on instruction, student engagement, and classroom success.

You’ll join a collaborative, student-centered team that values creativity, compassion, and work-life balance while providing the resources and support educators need to thrive.

Why Join Us

  • No IEP case management responsibilities
    • Dedicated paraprofessional support in the classroom
    • Supportive leadership team focused on collaboration, not micromanagement
    • Founded and operated by practitioners and therapists who truly understand the work
    • Opportunity to focus on teaching and student impact instead of excessive paperwork
    • Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k) match, and more
    • Paid Sick Leave, Holidays, and Vacation
    • CEU reimbursement, tuition assistance, and ongoing professional development opportunities
    • Stable, full-time W-2 position with long-term growth opportunities

What You'll Do

  • Create an engaging, supportive classroom environment where students can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally
    • Deliver individualized instruction aligned to student learning needs and state standards
    • Collaborate with paraprofessionals and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
    • Implement positive behavior strategies and classroom supports using PBIS principles
    • Track student progress and communicate with families and school teams
    • Adapt curriculum and classroom activities to support diverse learning styles
    • Foster confidence, independence, and emotional growth in students
    • Partner with related service providers and school staff to create meaningful student outcomes

What We're Looking For

Required

  • Arizona Department of Education Standard Professional Special Education Teaching Certificate
    • Bachelor’s Degree
    • Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card

Preferred

  • Master’s Degree in Special Education or related field
    • Experience working with students with learning and/or social-emotional needs
    • Strong classroom management and relationship-building skills
    • Passion for creating inclusive, student-centered learning environments
    • Collaborative mindset and strong communication skills
