Position Title: Reservations Agent

Reports To:  Reservations Manager and Supervisor

Supervises:  N/A

Summary of Position

The Reservations Agent will create, change, cancel and confirm reservations over the phone for the hotel and special events by navigating the Hotel Information System (HIS). Agent can completely explain thoroughly and “up sell” our resort to callers and assist the guest with any/or special request.

1. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following and are subject to change at management’s discretion:

• Answers, screens and routes all incoming calls to IMGR&C by using Telephone standards.
• Make reservations for new and returning guests under Transient, Apache Spirit Club, and Groups.
• Stay up to date on promotions for Apache Spirit Club reservations and information on rooms blocked for groups.
• Radios proper department for guest request issue as Resort Services.
• Connecting interoffice and house calls by private branch exchange (PBX) Standards
• Maintains record of calls/ requests taken from calls.
• Performs other duties as required.
• Adheres to regulatory, departmental, and Casino policies and procedures.

1. Education and/or Experience Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED; one-year experience in customer service, excellent communication and computer skills; must have healthy and friendly attitude, proven record of dependability of performance, available to work all shifts, weekends and holidays. Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background investigation.

While performing the duties of this position, the team member is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands, to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, talk or hear. Must be able to use hand held communications devices. The team member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The team member must be able to stand for several hours.

The noise level in the work environment is loud. The team member will be exposed to a second-hand smoke-filled environment.
