What would you do in this role?
In this role, you’ll take the lead in applying and fitting splints, braces, and a variety of Durable Medical Equipment (DME), while also providing hands-on care such as suture removal and appropriate wound management. You’ll guide patients in the proper use and maintenance of equipment—including braces, crutches, canes, and walkers—and ensure all Proof of Delivery documentation is completed. Your attention to detail will shine as you accurately document care and related charges in the electronic medical record. You’ll also help keep the clinic running smoothly by preparing and maintaining DME and supply rooms, and stepping in to room patients when needed to support efficient clinic flow.
