Job Description

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Assist with updating and maintaining the calibration system to current industry standards
  • Enter and update calibration data in SAP accurately
  • Review and verify calibration certificates for compliance and completeness
  • Perform measurement and basic inspection of gauges and tools
  • Support routine calibration and maintenance of measurement equipment
  • Track calibration schedules and help ensure timely completion
  • Document calibration activities and maintain organized records
  • Identify and report out-of-tolerance conditions or discrepancies
  • Collaborate with quality and production teams to support continuous improvement

Physical Requirements

The noise level in the work environment is usually loud; hearing protection is provided and required. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to fumes, coolant, or airborne particles and will work near moving mechanical parts.

  • Ability to lift 20 pounds regularly, and 50 pounds occasionally. 
  • Ability to perform excessive walking, standing, bending, climbing, reaching, grasping, and lifting.
  • Ability to visually inspect parts and use of hands to use measuring gauges.
  • Ability to run machines and equipment safely and efficiently.
