Grounds Maintenance

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Grounds Mainenance. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the grounds outside the building to include but not limited to trimming of grass, trees, shrubs, removal, and planting of all types of plants, as well as snow removal and hazards/obstructions removal.

 As part of our team, you’ll embody our Promise to Lead with Love—guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences. You’ll maintain clean, safe, and visually appealing outdoor spaces, creating a welcoming first impression for our guests.

Key Responsibilities  

  • Maintain all plants and grounds to include but not limited to pick up all trash, water all plants, shrubs, trees, flowers, as necessary.
  • Trim, prune, fertilize and maintain all trees, plants and shrubs on the grounds.
  • Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following the manufacturer’s preventative maintenance programs.
  • Ensure resort grounds are maintained so that guests are not inconvenienced because of repairs or maintenance.

What We’re Looking For  

  • One year of landscape experience is helpful.
  • Knowledge in planting and shrub maintenance required.
  • Previous experience with exterior plant maintenance preferred.
