Job Description
As an Extension Specialist, you are the face of the Extensions program - the go-to expert for au pairs, host families, LCCs, and staff throughout the entire extension journey. Success in this role demands deep mastery of the Extensions process: understanding eligibility requirements, confidently overcoming objections, and expertly guiding au pairs through matching with a new host family for their second term.
At the core of this role is consistent, high-volume outreach to your pipeline of extension-eligible au pairs. Each day, you will prioritize regular, meaningful communication that moves au pairs through the extension process and toward a decision ultimately leading to an extension match. This is a goal-driven role with clear performance expectations at the daily, weekly, and monthly level. Your success will be measured by your ability to sustain outreach volume expectations and consistently hit goals.
About the role:
Inspire au pairs and get them excited about extending their time in the USA
Consistently showcase quality, effective and proactive incoming/outgoing communication with our program participants
Navigate daily scheduled calls and task management from initial outreach to extension start.
Set clear expectations and information about next steps during their journey to drive the extension sale
Guide and approve au pair required education in a timely manner
Consistently meet individual and team monthly goals, and daily output expectations
Provide guidance throughout an au pair’s time in matching with a new family.
Collaborate across departments to develop creative ways we can reach and educate au pairs
Who you are:
You know that 1 phone call is worth 10 emails! You look for ways to improve communication to get the job done!
You are goal-driven and hold yourself accountable to daily, weekly, and monthly performance expectations — consistently hitting goals is your standard
You know nothing is impossible and you are not afraid to prove it by going above and beyond to meet your goals.
You treat your pipeline like your own business, taking ownership of results and actively driving growth
You are a natural coach who loves to teach, inspire and build genuine connections with au pairs throughout their journey.
You know when to take initiative and when to bring in others, striking the right balance between independence and collaboration
You are adaptable and committed to continuously developing the skills and expertise needed to succeed in a fast-paced, metrics-driven role
The ideal candidate:
Prior experience in sales or proven track record of hitting goals
Ability to effectively manage high daily phone call and email volume
High motivation to hit daily, weekly and monthly goals
Demonstrated leadership ability in current role
Understanding of task and pipeline management in Salesforce
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Nailing the details while never losing sight of the big picture
Strong adaptability, presence, antennae, and resourcefulness
Consultative or needs-based selling skills
