Pay: $21.62 - $25.01 PR/HR

**Placement within the wage range for this position is determined by years of experience, qualifications, and demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions.**

• Prioritizing comfort while assisting Residents in achieving their highest level of function
• Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
• Monitoring vital signs to include temperature, pulse, respirations, and blood pressure
• Maintaining a safe environment and assisting with fall-risk precautions
• Interdepartmental communications within care team
• Prepare residents for meals. Assist residents in eating as needed. Utilize restorative techniques to promote resident independence and highest functional level
• Record progress in the Restorative Record. read and follow daily care plans; report changes in resident condition to Nurse in charge; document care provision on residents record/flow sheets as required and report accidents and incidents
• Monitor restorative equipment for quantity, quality, and cleanliness

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Nursing assistant in good standing with the State and maintain certification throughout employment with Avalon
• Meet State and federal requirements, generally 12 hours, in service education
• Must have the ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions in English.
• Recent education or clinical hours are required.
• You need to be at least 18 years old. 
• Must pass criminal background investigation, reference inquiry
