Job Description

RIALTO UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT OPPORTUNITY-

Employer: ThinkWise Credit Union

Location: 599 N E St, San Bernardino, CA 92401

Schedule: Spring Internship (12–24 weeks, 100 hours), 10 hours TOTAL per week, including Saturdays (6-8 hours) and 1-2 days after school (2 hours) per week (based on availability)

Interviews will be held sometime in February 2026. You will be contacted with your timeslot, if selected.

Compensation: Paid Internship, $16.90/hour

Program Overview

The Administrative & Document Scanning Internship is designed for high school students interested in developing real-world office, organizational, and technology skills.
Interns will support Thinkwise Credit Union’s digital records initiative by helping convert archived documents into organized, secure digital files. Students will gain exposure to professional workflows used in financial institutions while building foundational administrative and technical competencies.

This hands-on experience strengthens digital literacy, attention to detail, and confidentiality awareness — all essential skills for future careers in business, office administration, financial services, or information management.

Key Responsibilities

Document Scanning & Digital Conversion

  • Scan, index, and organize physical documents into digital formats.

  • Accurately label, categorize, and store files within secure systems.

  • Cross reference tasks and assignments with peers to ensure accuracy and correct organization of documents (similar to an audit of projects).

  • Review scanned files for clarity, completeness, and proper naming.

  • Support consistent workflow to meet digital conversion goals.

Confidentiality & Data Security

  • Learn and follow proper handling procedures for sensitive information.

  • Protect all member data following Thinkwise Credit Union’s privacy protocols.

  • Understand why confidentiality is essential in financial environments.

Administrative Support & Coordination

  • Communicate with staff to confirm digitized file accuracy.

  • Help prepare documents for scanning and track progress.

  • Assist in identifying small improvements to digital organization workflows.

  • Develop strong communication and teamwork habits in a professional setting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in Rialto Unified School District high school (business pathway preferred).

  • Interest in business, office administration, technology, or financial services.

  • Basic comfort with computers, scanners, and digital tools.

  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow confidentiality guidelines.

Work Environment

Interns will work onsite in an office setting within Thinkwise Credit Union’s Operations or Member Services teams. Tasks include scanning documents, reviewing digital files, and collaborating with staff in a supportive, supervised environment. Students will gain exposure to professional expectations, workplace etiquette, and the operations of a community-focused financial institution.
