ALK Abello' Source Materials, Inc., a leading manufacturer of quality allergenic biological source materials, and a member of the global ALK-Abello' group of companies, is recruiting for our open Materials Handling Technician position. Join our stable and growing company and provide leadership and expertise to our workforce located in our 150,000 square foot facility in Post Falls, ID.
The Materials Handling Technician is responsible for receiving, filling orders, and delivering all shipments, including allergenic source materials according to cGMP rules and regulations. Technicians are expected to prepare and complete all applicable documentation for proper receiving, filling orders, and shipping of materials. The position will have a heavy focus on computer systems such as SAP and Access. Other responsibilities include maintaining vendor relationships, hazardous chemical and waste handling, using forklifts and other equipment to move materials to proper storage areas, and maintaining all shipping paperwork to track whereabouts and ensure timely delivery.
The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, plus 1-year relevant work experience in an administrative, warehouse or shipping position. Experience in a Pharmaceutical or cGMP environment is a plus. Demonstration of excellent communication, facilitation skills and teamwork are a must.
All positions at ASM require the ability to comfortably work around deceased, stinging insects, allergenic antigens, hazardous chemicals and solvents and laboratory reagents.
