Position Overview
Mercy Chefs is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Donor Care Intern to support our Development and Donor Relations team. This internship offers hands-on experience in nonprofit operations, donor stewardship, and customer service.

The Donor Care Intern will help ensure our supporters receive timely acknowledgments, accurate records, and meaningful communication that reflects the heart and mission of Mercy Chefs. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is organized, dependable, professional in communication, and passionate about serving others.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and mailing donor receipts and acknowledgment letters
• Support donor email communications and respond to inquiries as directed
• Conduct follow-up phone calls to donors when needed
• Perform data entry and administrative tasks in Salesforce under supervision
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date donor records and documentation
• Provide general administrative support to the Donor Care team, including special projects as assigned

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Comfortable using computers and learning new software systems
• Ability to handle confidential donor information with discretion and professionalism
• Friendly, professional, and service-oriented mindset
