We are looking for a dependable Material Handler / Expediter to support material handling and expediting activities throughout the plant. This position is responsible for identifying inbound material, assisting with material counts, moving material to jobs and storage locations, staging material for saws and work centers, retrieving finished product for shipment, and supporting shipping with crate building for large or heavy products.

The ideal candidate must be able to measure accurately, use measuring tools and weight scales, and ensure proper paperwork accompanies all product during movement and storage. This role also works closely with internal departments to resolve expediting issues and help keep materials flowing efficiently through the plant.

Responsibilities: Identify inbound product, assist with counts, move material from receiving to storage or jobs, stage material for production, deliver material between work centers and shipping, retrieve finished goods for shipment, build wooden crates as needed, and support daily communication on material-related issues.

Qualifications: Previous manufacturing, warehouse, shipping/receiving, or material handling experience preferred. Must be able to use measuring tools, read paperwork accurately, stay organized, and work in a fast-paced environment.
