Back office and some front office support for Cardiology Providers. The position is 80%-90% back office with some front office support when needed, front office consists of patient check in, verifying insurance and requirements of that insurance i.e. referrals / authorizations, co-pay collections and scheduling of visits, testing and procedures as needed. Provides general Medical Assistant assistance to a very busy Provider in an outpatient setting consisting of EKG, vitals including manual blood pressures and Medical history verification. The staff member demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development appropriate to the ages of patients served. In addition, the staff member demonstrates competency in applying these principles when providing individualized care to specific patients.
